Secretary of Artsakh’s Security Council Vitaly Balasanyan will take part in the gas talks with Azerbaijan, the Artsakh Information Center said on Thursday. The full statement is below.

“We would like to inform that negotiations with the Azerbaijani side on the resumption of gas supply are underway with the support of the Russian peacekeeping contingent. The government of the Artsakh Republic is committed to solving this crucial problem as soon as possible, and we assure you that all possible measures are being taken, including at the diplomatic level, information about which, of course, is not to be disclosed.

In order to solve the problems caused by the actions of the Azerbaijani side, by the decree of the Artsakh Republic President, Secretary of the Security Council Vitaly Balasanyan has been authorized to collaborate with the Russian peacekeeping contingent and hold talks with the Azerbaijani side.

At the same time, we call on public and political figures to exercise restraint and refrain from manipulative actions and statements.”
