Eight more Armenian prisoners of war (POWs) have returned from Azerbaijani captivity, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Vahan Hunanyan said on Monday.
They were released at the mediation of French President Emmanuel Macron and President of the European Council Charles Michel following their virtual meeting with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan on February 4.
The repatriated POWs are identified as Sargis Tarzyan, Vardges Balayan, Armen Petrosyan, Artur Babayan, Hmayak Sargsyan, Gurgen Galoyan, Grigor Kyureghyan and Vagharshak Maloyan.
