The explosion of an Azerbaijani car on a mine is another false reason for accusing Armenians

5 June 2021, 11:52 - NovostiNK
Azerbaijani media reported that on June 4, 2021, at about 11 o’clock, a car carrying employees of television channels and news agencies sent to the Kelbajar district was blown up by a mine. As a result, three people were killed – the operator of the TV channel, an employee of the news agency and a state official.

Another 4 people were injured in various degrees of severity. According to the information of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, investigative actions are being carried out. Among other information, attention was drawn to the following shocking statement: “The Armenian Armed Forces’ mining of Azerbaijani territories is a gross violation of the norms and principles of international law, including the requirements of the Geneva Convention of 1949, and constitutes a continuation of criminal actions against Azerbaijani citizens.”

This statement is another provocative step aimed at destabilizing and escalating the situation in the region. It is provocative from the point of view that the road is operated by Azerbaijan repeatedly and for quite a long time.

The aim of escalating the next round of tension is to accuse in international instances the Armenian side of refusing to provide maps of the minefields. In addition, Baku is doing its best to disguise and forget the facts of the killings of persons captured by Azerbaijan, including civilians, as well as the abuse and ill-treatment of numerous Armenian prisoners of war and other detained persons, despite the demands of authoritative international organizations and leaders of countries for their immediate release.

Maybe the Aliyev dictatorship has masterfully played a combination of getting rid of unwanted journalists and an official with this move?
